My family consists of my mom, dad, me and our golden retriever Flurry.

I've just started my Senior year at the University of Notre Dame.  I am so happy to be attending this great university and am a proud member of the Notre Dame Marching Band, for the fourth consecutive year. I play trumpet and can be seen playing in South Dining Hall, Concert on the Steps (Bond Hall), Trumpets Under the Dome, or in Sorin's Band, during football Saturdays on the Notre Dame campus.  I love sports!  Hockey is one of my favorite sports and I also play in the Notre Dame Hockey Band, best of both worlds, hockey and music.

Speaking of hockey, I worked as an aid for my friend Katie over the summer of 2017.  She was employed by Michigan State University, working as a CAD operator at the MSU Cyclotron.  My job, as her aid, was to make sure she was safe and that she received any help she needed during the day.  Katie also plays wheelchair hockey and tennis, so I did too!   I made a lot of new friends and have been asked to be a referee at future wheelchair hockey tournements.  I was also told by the coordinator, Piotr, that I earned the title "Social Director."  It was so fun this fall when the MSU band practices with the ND band before the game.  I was thrilled to see five friends from the MSU band, two from high school and three other volunteers from wheelchair hockey.  It was a great weekend!

I am fortunate to have a great mentor from Michigan State University's Film and Television department.  I have trained with Lisa Whiting-Dobson for several years and continue to work summers and holidays as a camera operator for the Lansing Diocese Outreach Mass.

I had a great time volunteering at the Lansing Diocese first annual "Faith Fest."  I met Matt Maher, one of my favorite Christian Music singers.  However, the best part of Faith Fest was spending the day with my other friend Katie.  We have been friends since the age of five, we were always in the the same church mentor group and in the Girl Scout troop.  It was great catching up and spending time with my good friend.  For the past two years, I have been a Band Link volunteer for local kids within the South Bend community, while attending college.  Last year, I also volunteered at the St. Joseph County Humane Society and was involved with Saint Mary's Campus Ministry.

Elementary thru High School - Since the age of five, I've been actively involved in both Girl Scouts and religious formation at my church.  I have received many awards for academics, Girl Scouts, community service and music.  I have taken both piano and guitar lessons for six years and played in several bands in high school.  While attending DeWitt High School, I was trumpet and brass section leader, starter on the DHS Quiz Bowl team, volunteered at MSU's Digital Cinema camp and MSU's Multi-Cam class,  St. Jude's Vacation Bible School, and participated in several community service activities each year.  I've enjoyed high school, made lots of friends and great memories but I'm really looking forward to the next chapter in my life, college.
